Welcome to SP Stop Coupon Leaks! This app helps you find discount codes that have leaked onto coupon sites, detect when browser extensions try to use your codes, and protect your store from unwanted discounts.

The app has two main tools that work independently:

  • Leak Scanner finds leaked coupon codes and shows where they were found.
  • Coupon Blocker detects coupon extension activity and lets you record or block detected attempts.

This guide walks you through everything you need to get up and running.

What the app does

With SP Stop Coupon Leaks, you can:

  • Find leaked coupon codes across supported coupon sites
  • Spot high-risk codes and see which coupons may need attention first
  • Detect coupon injection attempts from supported browser extensions
  • Choose how to handle detected attempts with Payout only or Full Block mode
  • Track affected orders and see which codes and extensions were involved
  • Expire leaked codes without permanently deleting them from Shopify
  • Export evidence to help review or dispute affiliate payouts
  • Get email alerts when coupon leaks are detected

Set up the app

From the Quick setup card on your Dashboard, complete these three steps:

#1. Choose a blocking mode – select Payout only to record detected attempts, or Full Block to try to block them.
#2. Set your scan frequency – choose how often Leak Scanner checks for leaked coupon codes.
#3. Enable Extensions – enable the Checkout Extension and Theme Extension required for monitoring and protection.

Dashboard overview

The Dashboard gives you a quick view of your coupon protection status. Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Key stats – see leaked codes, sessions with detected injection activity, and codes at risk
  • Learning progress – track the initial period while the app learns your store’s coupon activity
  • Extensions – check the status of the Checkout Extension and Theme Extension
  • Leak Scanner – quickly review leaked and high-risk coupon codes
  • Coupon Blocker – review detected injection attempts and affected orders
  • Help links – access User Guides, FAQs, app information, and support

💡 Tip: Start with Leak Scanner to see which codes are being shared, then use Coupon Blocker to review extension activity. The two tools work independently, so a code doesn’t need to be found by Leak Scanner before Coupon Blocker can detect activity involving it.
