Case 1 – Stores using Legacy customer accounts

⚠️ Heads up: Shopify deprecated legacy customer accounts in February 2026. Multipass will stop working when your store reaches the final sunset date. We recommend migrating to New customer accounts. See Case 2 for the recommended setup.

If your store is still on Legacy customer accounts, your customers log in with an email and password. Previously, Shopify Plus stores could use Multipass for one-click login — however, this feature is no longer available following the deprecation of legacy accounts.

To continue using SP Login As Customer, please migrate to New customer accounts and follow new customer accounts workflow instead (Case 2). You can contact us in case you have any questions.
