How to configure product dimensions

Product dimensions are crucial because they determine the Billable (BW). BW affects the final shipping fee and batch volume.

You can set dimensions for:

• All products
• Selected products
• Specific collections

Steps

#1. Go to Product dimensions

#2. Click Create product dimensions

#3. Name your rule (e.g., “Standard box size”)

#4. Enter Length, Width, Height, Weight

#5. Choose where the rule applies:

• All products
• Specific products
• Specific collections

#6. Set Priority (lower = higher priority)

#7. Click Save

Let’s say, if you sell candles and most are shipped in…

• Length 20cm
• Width 15cm
• Height 15cm
• Weight 0.7kg

You can create one rule and apply it to the whole Candles collection.

This ensures the shipping fee is accurate even if some products lack dimensions in Shopify.
