SP COD Order Form & Upsell

1. Get started with SP COD Order Form & Upsell

Welcome to SP COD Order Form & Upsell!

SP COD Order Form & Upsell lets shoppers place cash on delivery (COD) orders in one simple form, right on your product page or cart page. Shoppers don’t go through the regular checkout. They enter their details, click one button, and the order is created in your Shopify admin, ready to ship.

You can also add quantity offers, a one-click upsell, and a last-chance discount to help shoppers add more to each order.

The app works through a Shopify app embed and theme blocks, so you don’t need to edit your theme code.

1.1. What the app does

With SP COD Order Form & Upsell, you can:

  • Show a COD order form as a pop-up or directly on the product page
  • Add a COD button to product pages and the cart page
  • Add a sticky COD button that stays on screen while shoppers scroll
  • Choose the fields shoppers fill in and the countries you deliver to
  • Style the button and form to match your store
  • Offer quantity discounts, such as “Buy 2, save 10%”
  • Show a one-click upsell after the order is placed
  • Show a last-chance discount when shoppers close the form
  • Choose which products, countries, and order totals can use COD
  • Limit repeat orders and block phone numbers you don’t trust

1.2. How a COD order works

  1. The shopper opens the form. They click the COD button, or fill in the form shown on the product page.
  2. The shopper fills in the form. They choose a quantity offer, if you have one, and enter their details.
  3. The order is created. The app creates the order in your Shopify admin with the payment status Payment pending.
  4. The upsell appears. If you turned on One-click upsell, the shopper sees your offer. If they accept, the product is added to the same order.
  5. The shopper sees the confirmation. The app sends them to the page you chose in After ordering.

If a shopper closes the form without ordering, the app can show a last-chance discount (Downsell), once per visit.

The order is created before the upsell appears. If the shopper closes the tab during the upsell, you still keep the order.
