Get started with SP Wholesale Pricing

Welcome to SP Wholesale Pricing! This app lets you offer special prices to selected customers — like wholesalers or VIP buyers — without changing what regular shoppers see. Guests and logged-out customers always see your normal retail prices. Wholesale prices only show up for logged-in customers who meet the conditions you set.

This guide walks you through everything you need to get up and running.

What the app does

With SP Wholesale Pricing, you can:

  • Set special prices for specific customers — a percentage off, a fixed amount off, or a completely custom price
  • Reward bulk buyers with volume discounts that kick in based on how many items they buy or how much they spend
  • Control who sees wholesale prices by targeting customers using their email address, a customer tag (like wholesale or vip), or all logged-in customers
  • Manage all your pricing rules in one place, with search, filters, and bulk actions
  • Show wholesale prices everywhere — on product pages, collection pages, the cart, and at checkout
  • Add a custom label at checkout so customers know they’re getting a special price

Who is this app for?

SP Wholesale Pricing is a great fit if you:

  • Run a B2B or wholesale store and need different prices for different customer groups

  • Need wholesale prices to stay private — only visible to the right customers

Before you begin

Make sure you have:

  • A Shopify store with admin access
  • Access to Online Store > Themes in your Shopify admin

Install the app

To install SP Wholesale Pricing, find the app in the Shopify App Store and click Install. Follow the on-screen steps to add it to your store.

Once installed, you’ll land on the app Dashboard — this is your home screen inside the app.

Enable the app on your store

After installing, you need to turn the app on in your theme before any wholesale prices will show up on your storefront. You only need to do this once.

Here’s how:

  • Go to the app Dashboard and find the App embed card.
  • If it shows a grey Disabled badge, click Enable. Shopify will open the Theme Editor with the app already added.
  • Click Save in the Theme Editor.
  • Go back to the app and click Refresh — the badge will turn green and show Enabled.

💡 Want to pause wholesale pricing? Click Disable on the App embed card. Your rules stay saved and nothing gets deleted — wholesale prices just won’t show until you enable the app again.

Dashboard overview

The Dashboard is your home base in the app. Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Enable / Disable — turn the app on or off for your storefront
  • Create rule shortcuts — quickly start a new Custom price or Volume price rule
  • Key stats — see how many rules are active, how many wholesale customers you have, and your average order value over the last 7, 30, or 90 days
  • Top 5 latest rules — a quick view of your most recently created rules, with a link to the full list
  • Help links — access the User Guide, FAQs, and your plan details

💡 Tip: Use the time-range dropdown above the stats to switch between 7, 30, and 90-day views.
