4. Shipping method rules

Shipping method rules work similarly to payment rules, but control delivery options instead.

You can:

  • Hide a shipping method
  • Rename a shipping method
  • Change its position

Create shipping method rules

Example: Put Express Shipping first for large orders

Create a Shipping methods rule.

Set a condition such as:

Cart subtotal > $200

Then use the Action tab to move your Express shipping rate higher in the list.

When the order matches your conditions, the shipping methods are shown in the order you’ve configured.

Example: Hide Express Shipping for PO boxes

Create another Shipping method rule and add an address condition that identifies the shipping addresses you don’t want Express Shipping to serve.

Then hide your Express rate in the Action tab.
