What common issues might occur when using our app and how can I fix them?

When using MP Instagram Feed, you may occasionally experience minor issues related to account connection, content syncing, or permissions. Most of these issues are caused by Instagram/Facebook API limitations or incorrect account setup. The table below outlines the most common issues and provides simple steps to help you resolve them quickly.

Issue Possible Cause Solution
Connection Error Incorrect login credentials or missing permissions. Recheck permissions and reconnect your accounts.
Sync Delay Data fetching delay from Instagram/Facebook API. Wait a few minutes — tagged posts, collaborators, or hashtag media may take time to appear.
Access Restriction Posts from personal accounts or unlinked profiles cannot be synced. Switch to a Business or Creator account and ensure it’s linked properly.
Missing Permission Error - The Facebook Page, Business Account, and Instagram Account are not correctly linked.

- One or more required permission toggles were switched OFF in the Allow modal
- Verify all three are connected in Meta Business Settings, then reconnect in the app.

Token Error Media cannot be synced, causing media displayed on the store to show errors. Reconnect the correct account that currently has an invalid token.
Feed Stops Syncing After Account Change The Instagram account was switched from Professional to Personal, which automatically revokes API access and breaks the connection. Switch the Instagram account back to Professional, then reconnect it in the app to refresh the connection and resume syncing.
