Troubleshooting & common issues
1. Ensure proper account setup
- Make sure your Instagram account is a Business or Creator account properly linked to a Facebook Page.
- If the connection between Facebook Page, Business Account, and Instagram Account is not correctly configured, the app will not be able to connect.
2. Permissions and access issues
-
Insufficient Permissions (Facebook Page, Business, or Instagram Access): Newly added accounts may fail to connect with the app.
-
Missing Instagram Access: Existing connected accounts may experience syncing errors.
3. Common issues and how to fix them
| Issue | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Connection Error | Incorrect login credentials or missing permissions. | Recheck permissions and reconnect your accounts. |
| Sync Delay | Data fetching delay from Instagram/Facebook API. | Wait a few minutes — tagged posts, collaborators, or hashtag media may take time to appear. |
| Access Restriction | Posts from personal accounts or unlinked profiles cannot be synced. | Switch to a Business or Creator account and ensure it’s linked properly. |
| Missing Permission Error | The Facebook Page, Business Account, and Instagram Account are not correctly linked. | Verify all three are connected in Meta Business Settings, then reconnect in the app. |
| Token Error | Media cannot be synced, causing media displayed on the store to show errors. | Reconnect the correct account that currently has an invalid token. |
4. Account limit error
If you encounter an account limit error, it means you’ve reached the maximum number of connected accounts allowed for your current plan:
- Start Plan: 1 account
- Growth Plan: 3 accounts
- Pro Plan: 5 accounts
- Advanced Plan: Unlimited accounts
To remove this limitation, please upgrade your plan.
5. Still having issues?
If the problem persists after following the steps above, please try disconnecting and reconnecting your Instagram account, or contact our Support Team for further assistance.
